Mateo Ga\u0161parovi\u0107, Ph.D. is Associate Professor on Chair Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing at on GF. He is currently the Vice Dean for Education and Students at GF. He was born in Rijeka, Republic of Croatia. He graduated from the GF in 2009. He obtained the academic title of Doctor of Technical Sciences in 2015 at the GF with the doctoral thesis entitled Radiometric equalization of textures on the photorealistic 3D models. His field of expertise is remote sensing algorithm development, remote sensing application in forestry and agriculture, GIS and spatial data analysis etc. He has participated in more than 15 scientific projects of the GF and he is a leader of the scientific project \u201cAutomatic monitoring of narrow-leaved ash (Fraxinus angustifolia Vahl) forests by remote sensing methods and Copernicus data (RS4EST)\u201d founded by ESA, \u201cAssessment of the long-term effect of climatic and anthropogenic influences on the spatio-temporal dynamics of vegetation cover in Croatia using satellite observations\u201d founded by Croatian science foundation and \u201cAdvanced methods of photogrammetry and remote sensing for monitoring changes in the environment (RS4ENVIRO)\u201d funded by the University of Zagreb. As an author and co-author, he has published a dream of more than 45 scientific papers published high quality scientific journals indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC), of which over 20 in Q1 journals. He is reviewer of over 220 papers in 25 scientific journals, of which over 100 in Q1 journals. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Mario Uro\u0161, Ph.D. is Associate Professor at the Department for Engineering Mechanics at the FCE. He was born in 1982 in Dubrovnik. He studied at the FCE in Zagreb, where he graduated in 2006 in structural engineering. He works at the FCE, the University of Zagreb as an Associate Professor at the Department of Engineering Mechanics. In his scientific work, he works in the wider field of numerical modelling, dynamics and stability of structures and earthquake engineering. He participates in many scientific projects. He is a team member who prepared the Updated Disaster Risk Assessment for the Republic of Croatia – earthquake risk assessment. He is currently the head of the Establishment Research Project of the Croatian Science Foundation, “New vulnerability models of typical buildings in urban areas: applications in seismic risk assessment and target retrofit methodology”. He was one of the coordinators of rapid damage assessments of buildings by civil engineers after the earthquakes in Zagreb in March 2020 and Petrinja in December 2020. He has won several awards, including the Medal of the City of Zagreb and the Croatian Chamber of Civil Engineers “Kolos” award in 2020 for his contribution to post-earthquake activities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Josip Atali\u0107,<\/strong> Ph.D. is the Associate Professor in the Department of Engineering Mechanics of FCE University of Zagreb. His areas of research are earthquake engineering, historical structures, numerical modelling, seismic risk etc. Josip participated in several research projects, published over 50 scientific papers, is a peer reviewer for national and international journals and participated in over 150 (led over 50) professional work projects (structural designs). He is the leader of the team of experts for National Risk Assessment in the Republic of Croatia – Seismic Risk, risk management capability assessment and national strategy in cooperation with the National Protection and Rescue Directorate (NPRD) and Ministry of Construction and Physical Planning of the Republic of Croatia (2014-2018). He participates in a Study on Seismic Risk Mitigation in the City of Zagreb in collaboration with the Zagreb City Office of Emergency Management from 2013-2021 (leader in 2016, 2017 and 2020). Josip is a part of the Croatian Civil Protection MUSAR team, and he is a member of the Thematic Working Group for the Security in National Development Strategy by 2030. After the earthquakes in Croatia in 2020, Josip led the organization of damage assessments and reconstruction cost assessment for the Government and participated in numerous strategic activities on the state level. He is a leader and one of the founders of the Croatian Centre for Earthquake Engineering.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Iva Ga\u0161parovi\u0107, Ph.D. was born in Rijeka, Republic of Croatia. She graduated from the Faculty of Geodesy University of Zagreb in 2009. She obtained the academic title of Doctor of Technical Sciences in 2018 at the Faculty of Geodesy, University of Zagreb with the doctoral thesis entitled Geospatial analysis of solar energy potential in the Republic of Croatia using multicriteria decision-making. Her field of expertise is the establishment and implementation of NSDI, creation of legal framework in NSDI and geodesy, remote sensing application, GIS and spatial data analysis etc. Since 2015 she is employed in the State Geodetic Administration, Sector for Spatial Data Infrastructure, where she currently works as a Senior advisor – specialists. She is a project manager of a project \u201cIncreasing the availability of NSDI spatial data through e-services\u201d co-financed by the European Structural Funds and component leader and short-term expert on the twinning project \u201cImproving spatial data services in the Republic of Moldova in accordance with EU standards\u201d for the Republic of Moldova. As an author, she has published ten scientific and professional papers in international and domestic journals and proceedings. She has given numerous presentations at international and domestic scientific conferences and workshops.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
